When: May 26 to June 6, 2014
The challenge is to encourage students to choose to walk or bike to school rather than being driven. Out of town students are also part of the challenge and can participate by doing an activity that is beneficial to the environment, such as helping with family compost, cleaning their neighbourhood, etc. We want to celebrate our Alberta Environment and have students realize that they can make a difference. Students will hopefully discover new things about the environment and how they can contribute to protecting it.
Drivers, please be extra cautious at this time as there will likely be more children on the streets.
